π Peach Margarita | The Summer Pour
Ripe summer fruit, fresh lime, a golden pour over ice.
I have been waiting to start with the peach recipesβholding off, watching the calendar. We finally got our peaches. And sure, I could have picked some up at the grocery store weeks ago. But nothing compares to the ones from The Peach Truck. Their peaches are the bestβso sweet, so tart, so fragrant they practically perfume the kitchen. Itβs worth the wait every time.
This is the drink that turns any evening into golden hour. Itβs soft and sunny from the peach, sharp with lime, and silky from just a hint of agave. This peach margarita isnβt too sweetβitβs balanced, blushing, and practically begs to be sipped on a porch while something sizzles nearby. It pairs with heat, and citrus.
Recipe
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
3 ripe peach, peeled and blended
3 oz silver tequila
1 oz triple sec or Cointreau
1 oz fresh lime juice
2 oz agave syrup (to taste)
Ice
Salt or TajΓn for rim
Peach wedge or thyme sprig, for garnish
METHOD
Rim glasses with salt or TajΓn. Fill with ice.
Shake peach purΓ©e, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave.
Strain into glasses. Garnish with peach or thyme.

Pairs beautifully with lime-marinated fajitas
Watermelon salad
Chilled seafood starter.

Use frozen or canned peaches if fresh ones arenβt ripeβjust adjust sweetness.
Want it spicy? Muddle in a slice of jalapeΓ±o before shaking.
Make it a pitcher by scaling ingredients x4 and stirring in a carafe.
