This one is on the waiting list now 😍. Years ago I found epazote by chance but haven't seen it since. I may have to improvise with other ingredients as well, but I can't not try. I'll just have to practice my patience and grow epazote from seeds since I have been missing it for years in everyday cooking. What would you recommend as a replacement for jícama?

I found some options that would work: kohlrabi, Asian pear, turnip, or green apple (my personal choice). Let me know what you pick and how it tastes.

Looks so beautiful! I wish I didn't have an allergy to peaches. 😔

I'm sorry to hear that. You could use cucumber instead of peaches. The traditional aguachile is with serrano, garlic, salt, and cilantro. Its a simple recipe 😋

Today is my True Love’s 62nd birthday. He is from Puerto Rico. I will make this dish for him tonight! We already have fresh picked peaches (both white and yellow) gulf shrimp, cilantro, cucumber and lime— I’m off to the garden market now for the hot pepper which I usually grow myself but this was not a good year for them.

I have considered doing the voice recording, and you have convinced me I should. I love the way you flow with it and add your own commentary on yourself. I was considering it a ‘job’ to do it, and you have made it fun. Wish me luck!
